Review by hotel critic
Abington Manor in Fish Hoek proves to be a commendable choice for those seeking a blend of comfort and value. As a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, I appreciate genuine hospitality, and here, the staff truly delivered. The manageress, Prisca, greeted me warmly, and I felt well cared for throughout my stay. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, an essential for anyone seeking relaxation. Breakfast was fresh and prepared right before your eyes, featuring a delightful range of dairy, fruits, and freshly made crepes upon my request. This shows a willingness to cater to various dietary preferences, although I did expect a bit more variety when opting out of eggs initially. The outdoor area, complete with a pool and garden furniture, provides a lovely space to unwind, and the free parking added to the convenience. It's also centrally located, with supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. For travelers considering a visit, Abington Manor offers a reliable option that balances comfort and practicality while maintaining a focus on hospitality. It's worth noting that every detail reflects care for your experience.
